Unity Health is pleased to be offering Thrive training for physicians, nurse practitioners, midwives and physician assistants. Thrive training is a great way to improve your proficiency in Epic, with a focus on updating user settings, learning how to perform workflows in fewer steps and discovering other tips and tricks to improve efficiency. Thrive training requires only a two-hour time commitment and will help you save time on daily Epic-related tasks.
Thrive classes will be offered from Feb. 6 to March 31, 2025. Classes are virtual, discipline-specific and led by Epic trainers. Classes are open to all Epic community members, providing a great opportunity to connect with clinicians from other organizations. Attendance is strongly recommended.
Registration for Thrive training is available in Epic University (EpicU) – Epic’s learning management system. To register, please follow the instructions in this how-to document. Each of you has been mapped to a discipline-specific training track, which should make it easy to find the class(es) that you’re eligible to complete. If you think that you were mapped incorrectly, please email [email protected]. More information can be found in this FAQs document.
Please note:
Thrive training is being offered in response to feedback that many of you want more opportunities to practice new workflows and ask questions about Epic. These classes are a great way to do that. Successful completion will help reduce frustration and lead to more comfortability with the new system. I strongly encourage you to attend.
